Greece, on the contrary, has taken a tougher position on this issue.
Greece is currently in fourth place in terms of the number of citizens vaccinated. Moreover, the country is advocating the introduction of so-called «covid passports». Greece was one of the first to introduce a digital certificate for citizens who received two doses of the pandemic vaccine.
According to the head of the Turkish Ministry of Health Marios Themistokleous:
We believe that tourists who have such a document in their hands will be exempted from passing any additional tests and quarantine measures when crossing borders. In addition, such tourists will have more freedom of movement.

# Greece has already sent a request to the EU leadership to support the introduction of «covid passports «throughout Europe. At the moment, this initiative has already been approved by Denmark, Czech Republic, Hungary, Cyprus, Portugal, Italy, Spain, Iceland.
And judging by to how the EU vote amicably on all issues, this Greek initiative may well be supported.
How this will affect Russian tourists is not yet known, although the prerequisites for the introduction of these passports for Russians also exist. So Cyprus has moved the date of entry for Russian tourists from March 1 to April 1. Time will tell whether there is a connection between these two events.
Georgia, in turn, has already canceled the introduction of «covid passports» for Russians, since none of our compatriots is in a hurry to go there yet.
